Woodbury Dental Care
A Great Dentist

Financial Info

We know that the cost of dental treatment is a concern for everyone, but we don't want finances to be the reason any patient foregoes dental care. Our goal is to work with you in any way we can to make quality dentistry affordable for your family. Please review our insurance, payment, and financing options, including our private savings plan, and don't hesitate to contact our dental team if you have questions or concerns.

Insurance

Woodbury Dental Care is in-network with Delta Premier, Health Partners, and Cigna Dental DPPO.

We File Insurance Claims on Your Behalf

As a courtesy to our patients, we submit all insurance claims, even if they are out of network. However, we aren’t involved with how your insurance handles your claim, the determination they make, and what benefits they pay. Our experienced dental team will do their best to provide an accurate estimate of what your portion of treatment costs, but we cannot guarantee how much your insurance will ultimately pay.

We will file your claim electronically so that your insurance has your claim in hand within days of treatment. Your insurance company is required by law to pay claims within 30 days of receipt. However, if they have not paid after 60 days, you are responsible for the remaining balance.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to our dental team if you have questions!

Frequently Asked Questions

Our digital dental x-rays are very safe because they expose our patients to as much as 80 percent less radiation than film x-rays. They are also an invaluable diagnostic tool our dentists use to see areas of your teeth and gums they can’t see with a visual exam, such as cavities inside teeth or between teeth and hidden gum disease.

Dental X-Rays and Preventive Dentistry

Dental x-rays allow us to see these issues in their early stages and treat them as soon as possible. And that’s the goal of prevention—to promptly treat small issues before they worsen and threaten your oral health. When we do, we can help you avoid dental pain and more complex or costly dental procedures in the future.

Also, many patients don’t realize that they are exposed to radiation every time they step outdoors, in the soil, rocks, and atmosphere. The level of radiation to which you are exposed with a dental x-ray is highly controlled, and the benefits to your oral health far outweigh the minimal risks.

What We Look for with Dental X-Rays

Some issues that our dental team looks for on x-rays are:

  • Cavities inside and between teeth
  • Tooth decay under existing fillings
  • Jawbone loss
  • Position and condition of teeth
  • Impacted wisdom teeth
  • Root canal abscesses and infections

At Woodbury Dental Care, we only take dental x-rays as needed. If an x-ray is necessary, our team will tell you why, what they can learn, and how it will benefit you.

Your comfort and feelings of safety and well-being are extremely important to us and contribute to a more positive dental experience. Our dental team is very caring and understands that many patients don’t like visiting the dentist because of anxiety or a negative experience in the past.

Comfortable Dentistry in Woodbury, MN

You can be confident that, at Woodbury Dental Care, we will do everything to ensure that you are comfortable. We have helped many nervous patients get past their nervous feelings to become confident about dental visits.

If you have a dental procedure planned, we will first explain what’s involved so that you know what you can expect. We always numb the area we’re treating with a strong local anesthetic first to ensure that the tooth is numb and you won’t feel anything. For further relaxation, we also offer nitrous oxide or “laughing gas” that helps soothe your anxious feelings and allows you to calmly drift through your appointment.

Comfort Amenities

Our caring dental team will offer you a neck pillow and blanket and help you get settled in one of our comfortable ergonomic dental chairs. We also offer headphones and TVs in our treatment rooms to help you take your mind off what's happening around you. After treatment, we'll offer you a warm towel to freshen up.
