Preventive Exams and Teeth Cleanings
Preventive exams and teeth cleanings every six months lay the foundation for excellent oral health for children and adults. When we see your family regularly, and you practice conscientious at-home oral hygiene, we can help you avoid cavities and gum disease.
If a problem develops, we can treat it quickly and stop it in its tracks before it compromises your oral health. Our dentists use digital x-rays, 3-D cone beam imaging, and intraoral cameras so you can see what they see and understand why they recommend treatment.
Our experienced hygienists also provide gentle cleanings and expert periodontal disease treatment tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
Gentle Children’s Dentistry
At Woodbury Dental Care, we have a special place in our hearts for children and like to see them within six months of getting their first baby tooth or by age one at the latest. Our dental team loves working with kids and getting them excited about taking care of their oral health.
Helping children avoid cavities and gum disease early on also positively impacts their long-term oral health. Positive experiences at the dentist in childhood can help them avoid dental anxiety as an adult, so it’s ideal if we can help them avoid the need for involved treatment.
We’ll guide your child through the stages of their dental development, offer helpful tips for oral hygiene and nutrition, and answer all your important questions. Dental sealants and fluoride protect small smiles, and if we need to fill a tooth or perform other treatments, we offer soothing nitrous oxide for a comfortable experience.
Solutions for Broken, Decayed, and Missing Teeth
Our teeth withstand significant wear and tear as time goes by, and many adults need help with decayed, broken, or worn teeth. Our dentists use natural-looking composite resin for our tooth filings and the highest quality materials for durable dental crowns that blend beautifully with your smile.
We also offer dental implants and bridges to replace missing teeth and complete your smile. A dental implant is a complete tooth replacement, and our experienced dentists can expertly place and restore your implant at our comfortable Woodbury, MN, dental office.

General Dentistry Technology
Intraoral Cameras
An intraoral camera is a small digital camera that our dentists use to show patients what they see during a dental exam. The camera illuminates the inside of the mouth, and the magnified images it captures appear on the chairside monitor in real-time.
Since you can see what we see, we can point out issues like broken or worn teeth or old fillings, and you can understand why we recommend treatment. When treatment is complete, we can show you the results and save the still images in your patient record for future reference.
TVs in Treatment Rooms
All our treatment rooms are equipped with TVs to help you relax and provide some pleasant distraction during your appointments!
