Dr. Charles Shimota

Dr. Chip Shimota was born and raised in Woodbury, Minnesota. Just as any other lifelong WDC patient would do, he chose to spend the next eight years of his life pursuing his passion for dentistry. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Shimota strives to make sure all his patients feel informed, respected, and comfortable. His goal is to build trusting and caring relationships with his patients in order to make sure their dental experiences are as positive as possible.

When not in the office, Dr. Shimota loves to spend time with family and friends, be on a lake, watch Minnesota sports, and suffer from a love-hate relationship with golf.
